We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our Bridge Family Dental team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting good oral health practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Bridge Family Dental is a start up practice that is privately owned.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in OpenDental software.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures when necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Engage with patients in a friendly manner, addressing their concerns and questions regarding treatments.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
Experience with Dentrix or similar dental office management software is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to accommodate diverse patient needs.
Previous experience in dental assisting, orthodontics, or pediatrics is an advantage but not mandatory.
A commitment to continuing education and staying updated on best practices in dental hygiene.
