Requirements
Active registration with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario
Completion of a diploma in Dental Hygiene
Baccalaureate degree in Dental Hygiene or a related field (asset)
Current knowledge and skills for providing comprehensive dental hygiene services
Current CPR certification
Previous clinical experience working with children, seniors, and vulnerable populations
Experience in the Public Health sector (preferred)
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
Technical skills in documentation, Microsoft Office Suite, and database software
Experience with ABELDent and Oral Health Information Support System (OHISS) (asset)
Knowledge and skills to work with diverse populations and understanding of health inequities
Possession of a valid Class 'G' Ontario Driver’s License and ability to travel for work purposes
Communication proficiency (written and verbal) in French and/or other languages (highly desirable)
