We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, dental procedures, and office management, with a focus on providing exceptional oral health services. Responsibilities

Perform dental prophylaxis and deep cleanings to maintain optimal oral health for patients
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including orthodontic treatments
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix
Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment in compliance with safety protocols
Manage patient appointments efficiently, ensuring a smooth flow of daily operations
Support pediatric patients with gentle care and effective communication
Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
Collaborate with the dental team to improve office workflows and patient satisfaction

Skills

Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations
Experience in dental assisting is a plus, providing flexibility across roles within the practice
Strong customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for patients
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care
Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively and work seamlessly with team members
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
