Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Active registration with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)
- Current CPR and First Aid certification are a plus
- 5 years of experience in a similar role is preferred, but not mandatory
- Experience in a clinical or dental office setting is an asset
- Excellent knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, equipment, and safety standards
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts simply
- Ability to assess and identify patient needs and provide tailored oral health advice
- Familiarity with dental software (AkituOne, digital x-rays, cavitron)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Ability to work well in a team environment while being self-motivated and independent
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and empathetic nature
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality care
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining excellent patient care standards
