We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health and comfort. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for patient education. Days needed are Monday’s, Alternate Fridays and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess the oral health of patients.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record system, preferably using Dentrix.
Assist in the management of patient records and scheduling appointments.
Provide support to the dental team during procedures, including orthodontics and pediatric care.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety protocols.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Familiarity with dental assisting practices is beneficial.
Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental software is a plus.
Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to better serve our diverse patient base.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is advantageous.
Strong customer service skills to enhance patient interactions and satisfaction.
Experience in pediatrics or orthodontics is a plus but not mandatory.
