Requirements
- Dental Hygienists Licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body
- Education: College/CEGEP
- Experience in a dental practice is an asset
- Ability to take dental impressions
- Ability to instruct patients regarding oral hygiene
- Skill in cleaning and stimulating gums to prevent gum disease
- Competence in applying fluoride treatment
- Ability to remove stains and deposits from teeth
- Skill in taking, developing, and mounting X-rays
- Ability to diagnose type and severity of diseases
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proficient in hand-eye coordination
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability for shift or on-call work
- Legally able to work in Canada
- Fluency in English or French (preferred)
- Strong client focus
- Efficient interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral communication
- Ability to work as a team player
