New graduates are welcome to apply

Requirements

Active Dental Hygiene License to practice in Ontario or ability to obtain one
Diploma or Degree from an accredited Dental Hygiene Program
Member in good standing of the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO) or ability to become a member of the CDHO
Proof of liability insurance
Obtain Medical Device Reprocessing certification as required
Proof of valid First Aid, Basic Life Saver CPR with AED
2 years of clinical experience as a hygienist preferred
Experience with dental practice management software, digital charting and radiography an asset
Valid Class G Ontario Driver’s License preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous culture and healthcare issues in Indigenous communities
Ability to communicate in one of the Indigenous dialects within Keewaytinook is an asset
Familiarity with public health programs (NIHB and Jordan’s Principle) is an asset
Ability to work cooperatively and in a self-directed manner
Adaptable to changes in workload or work environment
