Requirements

Post secondary diploma program of over two years from an approved Dental Hygiene program or equivalent
Current certificate of registration in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario, with Self-Initiation status
Minimum 3 years' experience in Dental Hygiene clinical practice
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of oral health care, dental conditions and infection practice and control
Superior oral and written communication skills
Sound knowledge and understanding of policies and standards outlined by the Ministry of Health and the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to adapt and respond to a changing environment
Valid Ontario Class 'G' Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle
Multilingualism would be considered an asset
