Registered Dental Hygienist

Location: St. Thomas, London, ON
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our dental team in St. Thomas, London, ON. The RDH will provide preventative oral care, patient education, and support for overall dental health in accordance with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO) regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform thorough dental cleanings including scaling, root planning and polishing.
Take and interpret dental radiographs as needed.
Conduct oral health assessments and chart findings.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, nutrition and preventive care.
Apply fluoride, sealants, desensitizers and other preventative materials.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Follow strict infection prevention and control (IPAC) protocols.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members for comprehensive patient care.
Stay current with CDHO regulations and continuing education requirements.

Qualifications:

Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO).
Valid CPR certification.
HARP certification for radiography (as required in Ontario).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
