Requirements

Registered as a Dental Hygienist and in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Manitoba
Minimum two years of experience as a Dental Hygienist
Ability to perform scaling (supra and subgingival), prophylaxis (polishing), periodontal charting, impressions, sealants, fluoride varnish, and local anesthesia (if certified)
Ability to place fillings (if certified)
Experience working unsupervised with 3000 or more practice hours and listed on the College of Dental Hygienists extended practice roster
Proven knowledge in critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and achieve work-related goals
Commitment to organizational principles and values
Knowledge of Indigenous culture and understanding of the impacts of colonization
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with computer proficiency
Membership in the Canadian Dental Hygiene Association or Manitoba Dental Hygiene Association (preferred)
Multiple language proficiency (preferred)
Experience in an inner-city community setting (preferred)
Experience working with dental software (ClearDent, eChart, Accuro) (preferred)
Current CPR Certification (preferred)
