We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to temp at our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with both patients and staff.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the application of fluoride treatments and sealants as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records using Manual documentation.
Collaborate with dentists in developing treatment plans.
Provide exceptional customer service to create a welcoming environment for patients.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
Previous experience as a dental assistant is advantageous but not mandatory.

This is a great dental office! Position is for a temp hygienist that can lead to a permanent position.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $45.00-$47.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
