We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and be a strong team member. Our hygiene team uses EMS Airflow system and determines their own treatment times based off of patient need.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages
Perform vital signs assessments and document findings accurately in medical records.
Utilize Cleardent dental software for patient documentation and record-keeping.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and procedures to provide the best care possible.

Qualifications

Valid Alberta registration as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to perform patient assessments accurately while demonstrating compassion and professionalism.

We are looking for a dental hygienist to help cover for a full time hygienist who is off on a medical leave. Hours could be full time (3-5 days/week) for the month of September, and then go to part time upon the end of the medical leave, and could be quite flexible.
