We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our practice, you will play a crucial role in delivering excellent oral healthcare to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include performing dental hygiene procedures, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and ensuring our patients receive the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities:

Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and fluoride treatments.
Take digital radiographs.
Screen patients for oral health conditions such as periodontal disease.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, care plans, and post-operative instructions.
Document patient care and treatment plans accurately.
Assist the dentist in procedures as needed and maintain infection control protocols.

Requirements:

CDHO member.
WHMIS.
IPAC.
Active Dental Hygienist license.
CPR certification (current).
Excellent clinical skills with proficiency in dental hygiene procedures.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Works well under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a dental office setting preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
Experience with Invisalign is an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent.

Pay: $46.00-$52.00 per hour.

Expected hours: 36 – 39 per week.

Additional pay:

Overtime pay.
