We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and promoting patient education regarding oral health. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages, including children and those requiring orthodontic care.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Utilize dental software such as Dentrix for patient records management and appointment scheduling.
Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care, including assisting during procedures when necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with familiarity in orthodontics being a plus.
Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to dentistry is essential.
Experience in dental assisting can be beneficial for this role.
Experience working with pediatric patients is an advantage, as we serve families with children of all ages.

Pay: $50.00-$62.20 per hour
