Requirements
- Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in British Columbia
- Certified in British Columbia to administer Local Anaesthesia
- Minimum 2+ years of experience working with periodontal patients
- Proficient in digital radiography
- Skilled in piezo-assisted debridement
- Expertise in subgingival scaling and root planing (SRP)
- Experienced in guided biofilm therapy (GBT) using Airflow technology
- Ability to perform thorough and careful debridement on patients with porcelain veneers
- Experience with localized antimicrobial therapy (e.g., Arestin) - preferred
- Familiarity with laser-assisted periodontal therapy (LAPT) - preferred
- Experience working in a restorative focused / prosthodontic office - preferred
