Our office has served this community for several decades with great staff and patients. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional service. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work as a team.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
Assess and document patients' oral health status, including periodontal health and medical history.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.

Requirements

Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with a focus on customer service excellence.
Knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics is a plus.
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and team members alike.
