Requirements

Active Dental Hygiene License in Ontario
Proficient in medical terminology related to dentistry
Experience performing dental cleanings and oral examinations
Experience taking and developing dental x-rays
Ability to administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
Experience educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
Knowledge of preventive dental care, including fluoride treatments and sealants
Experience assisting the dentist during procedures
Ability to maintain accurate patient records
Knowledge of sterilization procedures for dental instruments and equipment
Familiarity with infection control protocols
Experience with Dentrix or other dental practice management software (preferred)
Experience working with pediatric patients (preferred)
Bilingual (preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service abilities
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Previous clinical experience in a dental hygiene role (preferred)
