We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our family dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a gentle touch and a passion for patient care and education. This role requires a strong commitment to patient comfort and preventive care, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with dentists and other staff members in a team-oriented environment.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings, with a gentle touch
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of preventive care.
Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Utilize Cleardent software for patient record management and appointment scheduling.
Provide support and ensure a comfortable experience for all patients.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in dental hygiene practices.

Qualifications

Valid dental hygiene license in Ontario Canada.
Experience working in a dental office setting is preferred.
Familiarity with orthodontics is a plus.
Knowledge of Cleardent or similar dental practice management software is advantageous.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $36.91-$59.83 per hour

Expected hours: 7.5 per week
