We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. This role requires a strong focus on patient education, preventive care, and excellent customer service skills. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with dentists and other staff members to deliver comprehensive dental services.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the Dentrix system.
Assist in the management of patient records and medical terminology related to dental procedures.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care in various specialties, including pediatrics and orthodontics.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for all patients.

Experience

A valid Dental Hygienist license is required.
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with familiarity in using Tracker software being a plus.
Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse patient populations.
A background in dental assisting may also be advantageous for this role.
