We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. We are looking for someone to work Mondays, with the potential of additional hours. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in educating patients about oral health and assisting the dentist in various procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Conduct patient assessments and record medical histories.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and interpret results.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar software.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and providing excellent customer service.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experiences, particularly in pediatrics and orthodontics.

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
Experience in customer service within a dental office setting is preferred.
Familiarity with dental assisting practices is a plus.
Bilingual skills are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry and orthodontics is advantageous.
Proficient in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Pay: $44.57-$67.48 per hour
