Requirements
Registered Dental Hygienist License in Alberta
Experience in conducting patient screenings and oral health assessments
Knowledge of dental impression techniques
Ability to take and develop X-rays
Skilled in performing preventative dental procedures including teeth cleaning, scaling, gum stimulation, fluoride and sealant applications
Experience providing oral care instructions
Consultation skills with dentists on patient care
Ability to perform restorative and orthodontic procedures under a dentist's direction (preferred)
Supervisory experience with dental assistants (preferred)
Availability to work one weekend every week
