We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of oral health. As a Hygienist, you will work closely with our dental professionals to deliver comprehensive hygiene services, educate patients on oral health practices, and contribute to a positive and welcoming environment in our dental office.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
Utilize appropriate techniques for scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the management of patient records using Maxident software.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide support in orthodontic procedures as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and ensuring comfort during procedures.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Qualifications

Valid Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, particularly with orthodontics and pediatrics.
Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental management software is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with patients and their families.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance communication with diverse patient populations.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate patient records.
