Requirements

Active Dental Hygiene License in British Columbia
Successful completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Hygiene Degree program
Registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
Valid CPR certification
Experience in performing clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride applications, pit and fissure sealants, and whitening
Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care services
Strong oral health education skills and ability to introduce new preventative techniques
Commitment to maintaining ethical and professional behavior while fostering patient loyalty
