Summary

We are looking for a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist to cover a maternity leave. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional dental care and education to our patients, ensuring their oral health is prioritized in a friendly and professional setting.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and scaling of teeth, as well provide preventative care to patients.
Take digital X-rays and assist with diagnostic procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
Record and maintain patient medical histories and treatment plans using ABELdent software.
Ensure that all equipment is sterilized and maintained to the highest standards of infection control and that the dental office is kept clean and organized.
Promote patient comfort and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements

Valid dental hygiene license in Ontario.
Valid CPR certification.
Experience with ABELDent software is preferred but not required.
Strong customer service skills to enhance patient experiences.
